Craftdot

Easy crafts, honest templates, free printables

Terms

Short version: the printables are free, use them at home or in your classroom, don't resell the files, and craft safely. The longer version is below, in the same plain words.

Using the printables

Every printable on Craftdot is free to download and print. You may:

  • Print as many copies as you like, for yourself, your family, your classroom, your library, your scout troop, or your craft group.
  • Sell the finished things you make by hand from a template — the paper garland is yours.
  • Share the printable by linking to its page here, so the next person gets the current file and the instructions with it.

Please don't:

  • Re-host, email out, or bundle the PDF files themselves, or hand them out as your own.
  • Sell the files, or include them in a paid product, membership, or bundle.
  • Feed our files, articles, or images into a product that resells them.

If you want to use a printable some other way — a school district, a shop workshop, a charity run — write to [email protected] and ask. The answer is usually yes.

Our articles and images

The words and pictures on this site belong to Craftdot. Quote a paragraph and link back whenever you like; republishing a whole article isn't on.

Craft safely — this part matters

Our projects use scissors, craft knives, hot glue, and sometimes an oven or a candle. We write the honest difficulty and the gotchas into every set of steps, but we can't stand at your table. You're responsible for your own safety and for supervising any child at the worktable. Read the supply list and the steps through once before handing a project to a kid, and skip anything that doesn't suit your tools or your space.

What we promise, and what we don't

We test what we publish, and we fix what readers tell us is broken — tell us the file name and your paper size and we'll fix the template, not just your copy. What we can't promise is that every project suits every paper, printer, or pair of hands. The site and the files come as they are, and using them is your call.

Links to other places

We link out to suppliers, references, and our sister site Cottage at Home. Those places have their own terms and their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they do.

Money

There's nothing to buy here. No accounts, no payments, no ads, no affiliate links today — our disclosure page says what happens if that ever changes, and it would be labeled in the article, not buried.

Changes

If these terms change, the change is dated right here.

Questions go to [email protected], same as everything else.
